A year or two, or three, ago, there was posting that listed a website that gave blow by blow instructions on how to rebuild the infamous Palmgren lathe headstock. I have looked all over SMC, WC, and google, but can not find a reference to the the website.
Do any of you gentlemen know what URL is for rebuilding the headstock?:confused:
I have a complete set of the Palmgren lathe, stand, duplicator, and bowl toole rests that I would like to donate to someone. The only problem is that the headstock sounds like a grinder rather than a lathe head. I would at least like to be able to point the taker to a place where they can find instructions on how to rebuild the headstock. The lathe does run OK but it is noisy.:eek:
