Okay Folks,

I don't turn, and I rarely use my scrollsaw. Given that... anyone got some suggestions for Christmas Tree ornaments to build?

About 10 years ago I made these snowflake ornaments, based on a magazine article in American Woodworker (Dec 1998) from Frank Klausz

But now I'm looking for some other ideas...

I build candy canes , boots and trees with my scroll saw. You can check out scroll saw magazine they do ornaments every year at this time.

Nice ornaments, but they look a bit more like they'd be for Hanukkah.

If you guys can open corel draw files there are a lot of patterns on the engraver's forum. If not, I could maybe save some as pdf files and you could print them out. There were some posted the other day on the scrollsaw workshop blog in pdf format. He has some really nice patterns available http://scrollsawworkshop.blogspot.com/

I'm a little partial to 3D ornaments. On our tree, we have wooden reindeer, small cars/tractors, cutouts of states we've lived in.
