Here is my latest set of pepper and salt mills with napkin rings. Crotch walnut and Fiddleback maple for the mills. Waterlox original finish. 3-4 coats on maple and 6-7 on walnut to fill the grain. Followed with 0000 steel wool and then buffed with tripoli and white diamond. Comments/critiques welcome. I have used this same basic shape for quite a few mills and open to suggestions for change. Thanks for looking.

Nice work Bob! When you have a design that works - no need to change it! Course, this is turning.... and we always end up modifying things a little every now and then!

Those are very nice. The mills have a nice, classic shape. I wouldn't change a thing. I also like the napkin rings and ring holder. Well done.

Excellent! I really like the finish that the Waterlox gave - nice shape, too.

On the subject of changing the design, I think Will Rogers said it, "even if you are right, if you just stand there you will get run over". My thinkung also.Max
