Yeah, all that for $1295!!

The sale ends today, but should I buy it? Thats almost $500 off!!!

I wasnt looking for a 50" layout, but for this amount I would consider it - of course, this doesnt make it very mobile - so I woul dhave to brak the news to my wife that the cars no longer will go in the garage - - - -

I was looking at the g0691 - 50" - $1350

Or the g0690 - 36" - $1125

I thought about that one, but same situation, I need mobility. Dont foprget the G0691 (I believe) is $1215.00 w/free shipping until the end of year when you mention Wood Magazine. You might need the code but that is easy to get.

Compare the trunnions on the 651 to the ones on the 690/691 then decide................I would pick the 690 or 691 but then I have a GO690 so maybe you can hear from someone that has a GO651.........decisions decisions :D

I have the G0651 and have no regrets. The dust collection works well and I love the riving knife. The only thing I don't like about the saw is that the digital angle display stays on all the time. I wish they could have made it where you could turn it off when not in use.

I have a 3 car garage that is my shop. My wife always complained that she couldn't park her van in there, so I told her that I was going to spend $20k for a new shop and suddenly she didn't mind parking outside.

You ask for forgiveness, not permission..

Says the guy who came home with 3000 board feet of maple. Won't be able to park in the garage for several years now. :)

Chris, I have the 651 and really enjoy the saw, like Caleb said, the only regret is that the digital readout is not on a shut off switch.
It is well built and HEAVY, it pass the nickle test with ease and it is accurate and reliable.
What more could you ask for in a table saw??
At that price I would consider it a deal.
good luck.

What is the nickle test?

Stand a nickel on edge on the saw top and start it up. If the vibration doesn't knock it over, it passed the nickel test :)
