My molding is made for the front and sides of my mantel. I want to make a 1/2" by 3/4" rabbit on the back , at the top and the bottom, to except 3/4" pine board to form the top and bottom of the mantel.
I am going to miter the front and sides to except each other at 45deg.
The front and sides are just under 1 and 1/2" thick at the top and 3/4" thick at the bottom.
will the rabbit be seen from the outside like a square hole in my miter?
Do I need a stop rabbit?
