Found this old DP at a yard sale.
Its a old sears champion model. Needs some work as you can see. But it seems to drill straight and the motor works fine..

It looks like a good old honest drill press with no plastic or pot metal handles,etc.. As a bonus,the table has not been too drilled up like too often is the case.

20 bucks was probably a steal for that if it works and doesn't have alot of runout. Looks pretty robust too for a bench-top machine.

A few weeks ago somebody was trying to get 120 bucks for a craftsman 4" jointer with no motor on craigslist...... 20 dollars for a solid working tool is a good thing.
