I can't remember the name of a particular jig. It is an MDF board with holes drilled in it and little pins. You set the pins for the angle you want and the slide in your miter gauge to set the angle. I can't seem to find it in any of my catalogues or magazines.
Does anyone know it's name?
Thanks

Miterset.
I have both the standard jig and the one for segments. They are wonderfully accurate.

The "MiterSet".
I have one of these and it is a fabulous addition to the shop. It makes verification of your miter gauge a snap.
The same gentlemen who designed this has developed one that is specifically for segmented turners. I don't turn much so do not have one but I have heard equally positive comments from a host of turners.

That's it!
Now I can add it to my Christams list. I'd heard really good thngs about the accuracy and thought it would work well for what I do compared to a angle finder.
Thanks guys

Here's a similar but lower-cost solution:

Since most of my applications are not associated with polygons, I find the Wixey-style digital angle gauge works great for setting miter gauges to any arbitrary angle (zero the gauge on a horizontal surface like a table-saw fence rail, set the miter gauge face on that surface with the bar hanging down, attach the angle gauge to the bar and read the angle)
