GRIZ/SF radial drill press

Anyone out there own either Grizzly or Shop Fox 5-speed Radial Drill Press? The design seems to fit my needs to a "T", but am wondering if anyone has had any problems with these machines.

I have the Grizzly. It's OK but I don't love it. It's kinda irksome that when the head is set all the way back the quill handles run into the column lock knob. I'm also not real keen on the table lift rack, the ends are tapered and ride inside the top and bottom collars as it swivels around.. It gets trashy and starts jamming. In fact, when mounting it in my SCMS table, I removed it entirely.

It's the only Grizzly product I've been less than happy with. On the other hand, it's only $195. I'm looking forward to the new Grizzly Super-DP that Shiraz has hinted at.
