Hello gang!

I fell on this funny video clip this afternoon. Amazing stuff! It looks like an old Universal ULSpsr I used to work with back in the mid 90's. Cool.

I apologize if this is old news, or already posted somewhere here in the forum.

I hope he did the programming on his nickle instead of his employers. Looks like to total waste of time to me albeit pretty cool.

That is funny....

In my Navy days I was a Fire Control Technician, Radars and Computers for guns and missiles.

A Radar has a Magnetron Tube similar to what is in your Microwave Oven but more powerful...

I heard this story about a Navy Ship that had the Aegis Fire Control system onboard. In the transmitter room when the Radar is operating it makes a high pitch noise depending on the frequency it is radiating at. The higher the frequency the higher the tone, the lower the frequency the lower the tone. It can quickly change frequencies to prevent jamming.

SO now to the Music Story part of this Hijack...

During a Zone Inspection on the Ship at Sea, the Executive Officer the #2 was inspecting for Cleanliness of the Ship. When he walked into the Aegis Transmitter Room with the Technician he noticed a catchy toon.... The Tech had a program running so the Aegis Radar was changing Frequency to the Tune of the Navy Song "Anchor's Aweight".....

Needless to say they passed the inspection.... Sailors..... Our Tax Dollars...
