I was wondering about the cost of 4/4 birch down there. I heard its pretty pricey and I may be able to get it for a bargain even after shipping from here.
My buddy told me its pricey down there. I think normally its around $4.25 here bd foot.

I can't remember what I paid for my last birch lumber. I'll check out Reel lumber tomorrow but they are closed today.

I'm in CA but I don't use much birch. Sorry.

I probably use cherry, walnut or mahogany the most, plus a small amount of maple.

We are all outside today as it is pretty nice right now. Haven't bought birch for a while either.

Birch is not especially cheap.

MacBeath's website lists it at $8/bdft

When Santa Clara Lumber had their closeout sale earlier this year, the initial clearance price was $3.81/bd ft (that was for 4/4 S2S)
