Good info Myk. Typical Grizzly, as soon as the issue was discovered they posted a link about it right on their homepage. Its still there and I imagine it will be until they feel the situation is under control. I don't have this saw but do appreciate the heads up. Who knows, next time it could be one of my routers or something else own.

Yea, Grizzly has had a link to the recall at the top their website for quite some time now. I don't recall ever seeing a manufacturer that has ever done that.

i posted that link when it came out and it was "stickied". Shiraz eventually posted that all had been taken care of and the "sticky" was removed. I suspect it is now over.

There's an old thread about this recall here (http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?t=120082). Shiraz indicated that it was 100% complete (which I assume means they tracked down all 500 units and got them retrofitted.)
