gloatworthy bandsaw?

Just bought a jet jbs-14 bandsaw. looks to be in decent shape, table cleaned up nice. Motor says its a 3/4 horse and made in 1979. Seemed like a steal at $40, looks similar to the 14" delta. Where is a good place to get new tires and decent blades?

Oh yeah . . . like just 'cause there's a picture, we're gonna believe you, right? :D Sounds like a great deal Tyler. Neoprene tires are available at most of the usual suspects; Rockler, Woodcraft, Peachtree, McFeely's (Rockler seems to have the best price right now at about $30 and offers free shipping through FaceBook or special order codes).

As to blades there are many good ones. I just call Suffolk Machinery and have them send me my Timberwolf blades in the mail.

Very nice,with the savings(its alot) purchase some rubber tires from Carters.But you will have to crown them for better tracking.Carroll

Sulphur Grove Tool had good prices and fast ship on urethane tires. Very please with them. The ones I needed had to be made. They made and shipped them same day. 800/657-5064
