Here are a few I just finished. They are truned from holly and maple with teak and purple heart spindles.

Thanks for the compliments. They are hollowed to less than 1/8" thick and very light weight. They don't weigh much more than glass balls one would hang on their tree. The size is around 2" in dia. + or - 1/4".

Thanks again everyone. Skip the display rack is made from some heavy copper wire that is used to ground a meter base on houses. It works well.

Those are beautiful! I really want to try some soon, just haven't had the time. Just last week at our turning meeting one guy brought in a ton to show and tell. He also showed us a tree his wife bought him at Costco to display them on.

I went ahead and picked one up hoping to make a good amount in the future. He had at least 10 ornaments on it. Who knows if they ever have them again.
