small gloat, still in raw form

Was given this by the latest storm that passed thru the area; cherry (what else?) and some large maple - a gool 16" diameter or so. waxed, in the process of cutting it up. do you guys store your wood with the bark on, in logs, or as i've been doing lately, removing the bark and either storing in 'naked' log form, or cut in half for bowls?

I store them whole or half log with ends waxed and bark on... Occasionally, I'll cut into rounds/blanks and wax completely. I wish we had cherry around here... Enjoy the gloat

Great gloat. Me myself would cut them in half to get rid of the pith and then wax. Just me though.
