Jointer Quick Set Knives

Are quick set knives really worth the investment? Cant decide on whether to purchase the PM 54a or the Ridgid jointer (knives being one of the deciding factors).

Well Tim, I change my knives in 3 or 4 minutes compared to 30 to 40 minutes, and the cost is about the same as having knives ground.

If you're not concerned about the time, consider this.

Have you ever avoided changing the knives because you couldn't be bothered to get into it?

Well, with quick set knives you'll actually do it when required, as opposed to long afterwards.
