A lady that I've made some ornaments for in the past brought me a cedar log she salvaged from a tree that was in the yard of the house she grew up in. They knocked the house down a few years ago so it had been cut for several years and was pretty cracked up. She asked if I would make her some bell ornaments to give to all her brothers and sisters for Christmas. I said sure, how many. She has 12 brothers and sisters! Anyway, here are a few of the ornaments...and a picture of all 12 hanging on the light.

Nicely done. Do you turn them like goblets with a hollow bell or between centers?

Nicely done Curt! I'm sure those will be family heirlooms that this generation will appreciate and pass on.

Thanks everyone!

Do you turn them like goblets with a hollow bell or between centers?
Yup, they're just a goblet without a base turned with wood held in my Talon chuck.

I like what you did with the wires as well.

Ron the boingy wire hooks are actually my wife's doing. I like how they look too.
