From issue 184. I modified some dimensions to fit a 4x6 photo. LOML saw the frame in the magazine and wanted one for her 99 year-old grandmother. So, here it is!
The primary wood is cherry; inner frame is spalted maple. This photo shows it after a rub of BLO/Naphtha. I'll apply a bit of shellac for a topcoat in a couple of days.

i like it.
I just got some photos from Daycare of my daughter yesterday and i think i'm going to build something like this for it.

Very nice on the frame! Great combination of woods, and the spalting really gives it some character.

Very nice Bill. I like the stand for it also. I need to make a large frame to put some Vietnam memorabilia in.. I guess you could say I've been putting if off for 40 years. How's that for procratination? ha..ha..
