Any Advice?

Pretty soon I will be turning my first pen with a all of the stuff I SHOULD have had before. Just the necessary doo dads. Any advice?

Make sure your turning tools are sharp.
Take your time and enjoy the experience.
Start sanding with 400 grit, then 600 grit, then use the shavings from your pen turning to burnish the wood surface of the pen while it's spinning on the lathe.
Apply two coats of Hut Crystal Coat and allow to dry over night.
Put the pen together and enjoy.

It's great and people really like nice pens and the choices are unlimited. :D
