I have a project where I need a flexible shaft that I can chuck in my drill press or an electric hand drill. The handpiece end must have either a 1/4 inch collet, or a chuck with 1/4 inch capacity. Is there such a tool?

RJR Studios makes the SandFlea, and one of it's attachments is what you're looking for. I don't remember how it actually attaches to their poser shaft, but you could give them a call. www.rjrstudios.com (http://www.rjrstudios.com)

Russ, dremel, Sears and Woodcraft all carry them, I see the prices that range from $12.00 to $30.00. They go into your Drill Press Chuck.

Thanks guys, I found what I need on eBay. The other flex shafts are set up for 1/8 or 5/32 inch collets, I need 1/4 inch for this project so I can use 1 1/2 and 2 inch diameter sanding drums. http://tinyurl.com/yfwxm8u
