I love my 8" Tenryu dado set but I have a problem. It it does not have a chipper that will allow for a 27/32 cut.
Does anybody know where I can find a chipper that would replace one of the Tenryu chippers to give me that capability?
Nope, Tenryu doesn't make one.
Thanks, folks.

How far off is it? My Forrest dado set the chippers slightly overlap. If you are only trying to get a 1/64, or 1/32 you might be able to shim a very small amount between the chippers. The multiple shims may create enough width.

If that didn't work they shim whatever you need in the middle and just clean up the small strip of wood that may get left with a chisel.

Just make sure that your arbor can handle the width of the set.

I believe I saw a set of shims in the Infinity catalog that arrived a few days ago, if you would like something exact. I bet they would work. Jim.
