So I was just about to purchase a 1hp Jet buffer & stand on Amazon (I have $225.00 in Amazon gift certificates) & the price went from $375 to 450(ish) overnight. So while I have been waiting for the 15% holiday discount from Jet I have been Checking Craigslist and found a Used 3/4HP Baldor on a Baldor stand. from the pictures it appears to be in good condition (seller said he only used it to buff lucite). So I am seriously leaning toward the Baldor and save my gift certificats for a future purchase. Which way would Y'all go

go with the baldor much better then the Chinese jet.

was already 99.9% leaning towards the Baldor, I guess I wanted someone to say the Jet so I wouldn't have to drive 200+ miles roundtrip at 6 am tomorrow, not looking forward to getting stuck in traffic going over the Golden Gate Bridge at 7:00am although it will probably be going the other way.

New, they sell for around 700.00 w/pedestial.It being a buffer it has the extra long shafts so you can get all around it.There is no comparision,w/the Jet or anything else.Pics,must have pics---Carroll
