I am thinking about ordering a Powermatic 3520B lathe from Tools-Plus during their after Thanksgiving Powermatic sale to be shipped via common carrier and would like to find out about your experiences with them good or bad.

Thanks for your input,
Larry

I've ordered twice from them. No problems at all. Good company to do business with.

toolzone.com has the same deal. I personally know the owners and I buy there as often as I can. I think the tools ship from the manufacturer!

I got something in the mail from Woodcraft today with 15% off JET and Powermatic. Looks like a sale with all dealers if it makes it easier for you to buy local.

A couple of years ago I bought a Uni from them. Unfortunately the top had a few dimples/punch marks in it. No questions asked they had a truck pick it up and a new one arrived 3 days later.

I'm on the fence about purchasing the Jet 12" jointer/planer myself. I have a Woodcraft sort of close but the tax is a killer. Need a line on what to tell my wife - someone already suggested to buy her a big screen and she won't even notice it :D.

I hate to be a "topper" and one up the 15% deal. But toolnut is offering 18% on black Friday weekend but are taking preorders now. 18% plus free door to door lift-gate delivery on orders over $2400. I've dealt with them in the past and have nothing but praise for them. Their website is not a working website in that you can't place orders on it. It's all done over the phone. http://campaign.constantcontact.com/render?v=001dXbC6UqaAI49lu0ABIq_acsiFlH3_bR7q_osEe u3Ef_hx_ClZ1Gsfm03O8oGyX48LhNsqdbAByiQV96eh-tdt9-6ew22TZfcrgi2hbl7XkY%3D

Tools plus has a brick and mortar store that is local to me. They are real people there, in fact real good people. I have bought several machines and lots of power tools from them, never a problem. I do have to pay tax but have never had to have anything shipped, i just pick it up at their warehouse.
