Just looking for some advice for a blade for a 12" csms. I have seen several threads from a few years ago, just wondering if the blade selections have changed. Also I have searched the web for a blade, and as you guy's know there are a million sites to buy from - any site/retailer recommendation would be greatly appreciated.

For a slider, you'll want a blade with a low to negative hook angle. Hard to go wrong with Infinity, Forrest, Ridge Carbide, Amana, Tenryu, Freud, CMT or DeWalt/Delta better lines. Be aware than several brands offer multiple lines. What are your price point and quality objectives?

Holbren is a great supplier and gives a 10% discount with "SMC10" code. Amazon also occasionally has some great deals. Woodcraft, Rockler, Hartville, Eagle America, or Sears may have some deals too. You may also find some Ebay deals.

I really like my Tenyru blade, FWIW. Very quiet and smooth cut.
