I love when I learn something new. especially when it has to do with wood working. I have access to persimmon from a tree that was just toppled. So I did I little reading. Apparently this is a member of the ebony family. Can't wait to get my hands on some of this stuff to see how it machines. I know they used to make golf clubs from it so it can look real nice.
