I like it. Is it stained, what kind of finish can you use to safely use it as a salad bowl.

I forgot to say it has 3 coats of Danish oil, with 3 days between coats.
Sorry I didn't include that information.

Nice bowl... Did you use a beading tool for the rim or freehand?

I did it with a skew laid flat on the tool rest to make the rim area.
