Looking at the online catalog description for the Veritas LA Jack plane, there is this at the end of the blurb:

"Blades are shipped with a pyramidal storage box, to keep the edge at its sharpest when not in use."

What's that all about? They're not subscribing to that old myth that a things stay sharp inside pyramids, are they?

Edit: Fooled me on that one. This must have been posted last April 1st. The inch thick blade should have told me, but . . .

That one's been around for years now. If you search for "april fools" on their website you can see all of the joke items.

It's not for nothing. That's why you're still so sharp.

That pyramid stuff is crap. But my tin foil cap has stopped the aliens living in Area 57 and the NSA from monitoring my brainwaves.

LOL You are soooo gullable. I've been monitoring your brainwaves for years now. That's actually the only reason I came to this forum was to keep an eye on you. Silly humans. :-)
