I just bought a bandsaw (try not to laugh to hard) but it is a dayton 14 inch bandsaw model number 1fyx1a. Now Grainger uses Dayton as there house brand from my understanding but they have a 1fyx1 not the 1fyx1a. I call Grainger to see if they knew the difference and they did not know. However they pointed me towards colovus, grainger said colovus made dayton bandsaws for them. Getting in touch with colovus for a human was near to impossible so I am here on the best wood forum on the web... wondering if anyone knows who in the world sold the dayton 1fyx1a. I cannot find one anywhere. So far the only specs i see that are different is the amperage with the motor. I got this bandsaw brandnew for 100 dollars so I dont feel real bad but I have my eye on a grizzly if I can find a job..
