This table is black walnut and western maple with an oil/poly finish. It's a little different than my previous tables.
Thanks for looking.

It's a little different than my previous tables.John, now this one REALLY looks great! I like this base style and the contrast in woods so much better. Very, very nice! And, just how much wood did you get out of those logs?? Seems like an endless supply of drop dead gorgeous wood.

I don't really know total board feet, but there's a nice pile of slabs. I have access to hundreds of more slabs though. A have a window cleaning business which is what I do 9-5 so to speak. One of my customers has a house with floor to ceiling glass and a barn filled with maple, walnut, cherry, elm, and black locust slabs. Mostly maple though. We barter. I clean the windows at his house and he keeps me supplied with wood. It's a good trade. It would cost him a pretty good chunk of change to pay someone else to clean the windows on a regular basis, and the same goes for me trying to buy slabs like this. I really struck gold on this deal.

I enjoy seeing the top of the legs under the table top. Looks like it was just set on top.
