Beautiful grain and match on the coffee table, Igor. Is that a glue up and book-match or from one slab. I only wish I could get a slab local that wide as I haven't seen one as such in 20 years..

BTW.. your pardner appears to have given it the thumbs up as he-she appears to have approved so.. lets just take a nap as all is well! :)

Igor, nice work on the table. While this isn't my style, I have always admired the clean look and balanced style and you pulled it off well. And, as others noted - great match on the grain.

It's book match. Board was not that big, about 8-9 inches wide, 8/4 thick.
If you look carefully you can see I added 1.5-2 inches strips from both sides to make table little bit wider. It blends in well because grain is very similar around the glue line.

Clear shellac and then arm r seal

Yeah, the simple lines of the grain is something to behold. Balanced well with the simpler legs.
