Bandsaw blade guard?

I have an old 14" JET bandsaw that I can't find a blade-guard for (where the non-cutting side of the blade is exposed).

Anybody here make one out of wood or know of a supplier (other than JET, who doesn't have any)?

If I recall the old 14" Delta guard used to be made out of wood. It shouldn't be an issue making one out of wood.

Cary is correct. My dad inherited Grandpa's Delta 14" and the original guard is wood and still serving its purpose since the 1940's..

You could use a piece of sch. 40 pvc and slot one side and bolt it on.
