Can someone help

After a VERY frustrating morning I have decided to ask for help. I have a pdf file which for some reason won't import properly into Corel (I use x3)

When I import it you can see it but its very faint, inorder to cut it I need to trace the bitmap (or thats normally how I do it ) but it will not trace the complete image.

Does anyone have any ideas??

Does the original bitmap look like this? If so you'll have to re-draw it rather than trace it.

Yes unfortunately that is what the original looks like so it looks like I may have to redraw - oh dear!!!!!!!

This may sound dumb, but have you tried copying the file from acrobat to corel? Can you post the pdf file?

The pdf file is too large so it won't let me post it unfortunately.

What exactly do you mean by copying from Acrobat to Corel?

Once again the Creek has saved me a mile of time !!! Was I being really stupid or do you know some trick that I obviously don't ?? My problem at this stage is that I have self taught myself Corel and its more by dumb luck that anything works!!

Ummmm....nothing too spectacular.....I just used Power Trace.

OK - I am going to investigate that - as I said I am a self taught corel novice and have never heard of power trace !!! But you have saved me a huge amount of time and I am very grateful!!!!

You are very welcome! Anytime you select a bitmap, on your toolbar you should see two choices: Edit Bitmap and Trace Bitmap......just choose Trace.
