Laguna Saw Upgrade

Hello All, I'm new here (usually hanging out in the Turners forum).

Looking for someone who has upgraded to a VFD on a Luguna Bandsaw. The saw is an LT24 with a 5hp 3 phase motor. The VFD(supplied by Laguna) will allow operating the saw on single phase power. I have made several attemps contacting Luguna, but have received a schematic only. Some personal experience would be helpful.....Thanks......Ed

Hi Ed. Which VFD are you looking at - The GE/Fuji Mini 300 Laguna sells? I have one of those on my Laguna T1002S shaper. It came pre installed.

What help are you looking for.

There is an install manual I have the link too at home I believe.

I have installed a Factormation FM50 VFD (3hp rated) as well on my jointer.

Mike, I purchased the GE/Fuji from Laguna. The saw currently has the standard start/stop relay device with connections for the safety switches.

I have replaced and programmed the VFD on my Oneway Lathe and received outstanding support from their tech guys....walking through every step if needed....I guess I was expecting the same from Laguna....All I'm getting is a schematic and advice to contact an electrician.

The more I study it, it may not be that bad.......Thanks for listening.
