headstock cost

Any ideas what a Jet 1642 headstock (complete with motor, spindle, etc) would cost?

The WMH site isn't clear on their parts pricing what all is included since everything is exploded in the diagram with individual part numbers for every little piece.

Probably more than the whole lathe. Lathe is a lot less than the sum of the cost of the parts.
Ex:
Stihl MS170 chainsaw, complete: $179

Stihl MS170 cylinder only: $160
Piston only: 40
Rings(x2): 16 each

Have to agree with Mike. Just my experience but the completed assembly is always less that the sum of it's individual parts.
