If you like doing acrylics, check out woodcraft.com's website. Got some nice looking acrylics on closeout sale. I just ordered a bunch of acrylic blanks at $1.49 each. Not always the color you want but price is nice compared to their regular $4.50 each.

Pretty cool pen Dennis! I like the way you used a block of the acrylic as your pen display stand. Had no idea of what the acrylic actually looked like before you started turning.

Dennis, Just bought some more kits yesterday at rockler while using my $15 off coupon. I need to get busy on the holiday items or I will never get anything done! This pen is very nice, elegant and the copper in the blank works wonderful with the coppertone in the kit! Nice job, I really like the acrylic and plastics of all kinds, as it is very easy to get a nice glassy finish.
