Getting kind of a melted, fuzzy, material using a V groove router bit in acrylic. Would changing the feed rate help.

In a sense yes. I have done a lot of acrylic playing. Do it in two passes. Take the bulk out on the first pass and then barely shave it down to your final depth. The other thing that will help a lot is a lubricant. I use a stick of tallow. Wipe a little on the plastic and dunk the running bit into it, carefully, and then make the cut. You can also use cooking oil and some use simple soap and water mix for lube. I think that is too messy myself. The melting is *usually* a sign of a dull bit or too slow of a feed or too heavy of a cut. But, there are other reasons for it too. Good luck with your project.
