Looking into a big walnut tree, was wondering if anyone knew of a portable sawmill around the Boulder / N. Denver / Loveland area?

Thanks!

Travis - if you go to woodfinder.com you can search for different specialties, one of which is 'on site sawing'. Might be a good place to start...

You can go to Woodweb and on their main page in the left hand column under 'resources' is a listing of some Colorado mills. I checked it and saw one listing for Denver - I imagine a guy who cuts yard trees. Also you could try the Woodmizer site or call them for any listings in Colorado. If you call a couple of the closest ones they may have some information on people who have mills who are not listed. Good luck with the tree.

You could check with the Singing Sawmill off of Hwy 93 south of Boulder, he may know of someone,

Also try Jay at Hardwood Emporium in Golden for references.
