I've read year old threads of members who have bought the Shop Fox w1677 TS. I'm planning on buying one of these.

Since it has been a while since I've heard anything, does anyone have an update on how well the saw has performed over the last year? Still like it? Would buy another one? Thanks....

I've had mine for just about two years now, and can't say enough good things about it. I haven't had to make any adjustments to it in all that time, and it's really been a workhorse. I've cut everything from ¼" baltic birch ply to 12/4 hard maple with it, with never a problem, and never a lack of power.

I just unplugged it this afternoon, in preparation for my upcoming move to Ohio. The whole shop is in turmoil - read packing it all into boxes for the move. Looking forward to the move, but really dread the packing. I have 41 cartons packed, and can hardly see where I've made a dent in the job, yet...
