I'm wondering if any Nova owners have converted their 1624 to 220?

I have a 1614 but have not converted it. If you go to...
http://www.myfamily.com/exec?c=content&f=sendtomembers&siteid=LG-hAI&memberid=000001
You will send an email from there requesting entry to the Nova Users site. I'm sure someone there will be familiar with what you need to do.

Hi Michael...

I tried the link, but I guess I'm not clear on where it takes me or whether it is a portal to a Nova Users Group.

It basically asked me to create a Family Web Site account. Did I miss something?

Bob, I changed my 1624 but it was with 3phase 230v motor and VFD drive. Probably what you want is to switch your existing motor over to 220v. You could call Tim Geist for Nova service , mornings seem to be best time to catch him. I think the # is 1-304-295-8166. He is located in Parkersburg, WV. Real nice guy.

Thanks Skip. I'll give Tim a call. I switched my TS and jointer to 220 and I'm guessing it's the same wiring swap, but I'll give Tim a call to be sure. Thanks.

BTW, did you notice any performance difference?

Sorry about the error.
When I tried it went through but I was still logged in I guess (cookies?). The site is for Nova owners and I do know that you have to have an invite. I have written to find out the procedure. I do not want to post that persons email address without their approval.
Again sorry about the confusion.
Mike
