Anyone know if you can get acrylic dowels (maybe 1/4" - 1/2" thick and 3-4" long) or rods that can be cut down....locally.....at HD, Lowes, Walmart, etc? I went to Michaels and they didn't have any.

Doubtful, Steve, unless you have a local plastics shop near you. Look up the "local" distributors for Delvies, US Plastics, etc. and maybe you'll get lucky, but I doubt you'll find anything like that at places like Michael's or the Borgs.

Yea, I figured I could get it from Delvies or McMaster......but I only need 4 3" ones......so I was hoping to find it locally.....plus I don't need 6 feet!!!

Steve
there is probably a plastics distributor in your town or nearby. They usually have odds and ends that you can buy by the pound.

Steve, what a great idea. I'm dividing the rod by the number of recipients and sticking the pieces in their stockings. Its has healing powers, yeah, that's the ticket! :D

Steve, you shouldn't die over healing rods, maybe there is some quackery here.
