Looking for replacement blades for my Ridgid 6-1/8" jointer

Freud C400 says the blades have "TiCo" - micrograin carbide titanium with Cobalt (are these titanium coated?)

Global Tooling has the T1 blades for about the same price - 18% tungsten.

Price is all about the same - I'm happy to spend a little more for longer lasting blades anyways.

Between these two selections, any preference or experience?

Also looking at the Amana.

TIA

I'm happy with the C400 knives I got from Amazon awhile back. They seem to be holding up well and I use my jointer almost daily. Easily installed and adjusted on the JP0610. Actually, I made NO adjustments after putting them in, just started jointing! I was pleasantly surprized. I've been happy with Freud.

Bob,

There evidently an error in the product info you saw for the Freud Knives. TiCo is the trademark name for our carbide. Info on our knives is here:

My misinterpretation...

TiCo is mentioned in the "freud Difference" not in the product description.
