I have had the good fortune of being given a gift certificate to woodcraft worth several hundred dollars. What I can't figure out is what to buy with it. If you were given a similar shopping spree, what would you buy? Past purchases that you would do again are fair game. I'm interested to see what Creekers rate as their best purchases and what gadgets you dream about at night.

I just bought the bigger sorby hollowmaster yesterday. I have the smaller version and it works great.

David - not knowing what you already have on hand - I did pick up a few things from Woodcraft that I would buy again:

Probably apply it to a new table saw.

1. Festool Track Saw. Oh, then this should be on the Power Tools Forum.... :)

2. Pinnacle or Oneway turning tools.

Extra chuck bodies are always handy, save jaw changes. Maybe a bigger or smaller gouge or skew.

I would have to agree that chuck bodies would be a good thing and I would wait for that big Christmas sale that they have every year as there are some excellent deals.
Because of the lathe work I do, I would look into a vacuum chuck or a coring tool for bowls.

If it was me, I'd be looking at a vaccum chuck or putting it towards the next big=better lathe. :)

I think I'd be buying the big Tormek sharpener, as well as a bunch of those pricey little jigs for it. Gift cards are like free money so when I get one I try to buy things that I'd probably never otherwise treat myself to!
