I am looking at buying some of these clamps. I have read on many sites that the clamp has three levels of clamping strength and reviews states that the first setting is strong enough to hold. Does anyone know if this setting will allow the handle to pass through the table saw when ripping? All the pictures I can find show the handle all the way down and I cant see how it would clear the table when ripping.

i know nothing of those clamps you are asking about but i had similar clamps and the handle could rotate 360 deg making it possible to move the handle into any position to avoid any obstacles. yours might work in the same manner. try rotating the handle 180 and pushing it in the up position.

I called Emerson (the Mfg.) and the clamp has three pressures of clamping. 1-150 " pds, 2-300" pds, 3-600" pds.
The handle will be flat in the first position. Now it's only will 150" pds be enough to hold. I think so.

Why are you using that clamp on a table saw cut?
