Trend Airshield pro ver Trend Airshield

I have had my Trend Airshield for a couple of years and wondered if anyone upgraded to the new Trend Airshield PRO. It seems like the Pro model does a better job filtering than the non Pro model. I have been happy with the Trend Airshield non pro version.

I have had my Air-Shield Pro for close to a year. It is more balanced than the original and does a better job of filtering. It is more convenient to charge as you charge the battery in place. I think it is quieter also. These are just my observations.

I've got both and undoubtedly the pro filters better. On the other hand, the old style-I find- is more comfortable. I also made quite a few batteries (for about 2 dollars each) for the old one, but the pro comes with a proprietary pack and it is quite expensive. I think that you can charge an extra battery outside of the helmet and that-for me- is a major consideration.
