I know most everyone has seen the segment on Ask This Old House where one of the guys on the show will ask the others to guess the use/function of an unusual, odd, or wacky item....One guy will show an item and give a brief description and a hint, and the others take a shot at guessing.

So, here's one for you....

It's made from 1/4" plywood, it measures roughly 3 1/4"W x 2 1/4"D x 5 1/4"H, it has 3 cutouts and a 1 1/4" hole.

Hint: I might paint it Blue ;)

Not sure just what its for but it looks like a cover of some type. Covers pipe or something like that.

It is dust collection hood for a Kreg pocket hole Jig. It looks just like the one I build about a year ago. They work great when you hook your drill up to a too-activated Festool vac.

Well ... thats what I think it is anyway. :)
