shopmade sharpening jigs

Has anyone ever done a comparsion of the shopmade sharpening jigs? There are lots of plans. Usual comment is that they work and are cheap to build. However, there doesen't seem to be any consensus as to which one is best. Opinions.

John, I made one with an adjustable leg so it functions like the Vari-Grind. Threw it together with scrap and it works fine, though I keep meaning to make a revised one with a few changes. Works fine and I can change various settings for the bevel and sweep on the wings.
