Help needed to identify this Stanley Blade

OK here is a Stanley Number 3 blade that is a little different.
I can't find it mentioned in the Stanley Type Studies.
Where does it fit in the Stanley Timeline - and is it rare?

That's a blade from current production of Stanley bench planes. You can see 12-003, that's the model number of the plane.

P.S. As you may have guessed, it's not rare. It comes with every single 12-003 planes sold at local hardware stores.
