Ordered it last Friday and picked it up at the terminal yesterday....absolutely no damage!

Went together very well.

I'll have more on it as soon as I can.

OMG, do you know how dangerous that is? To run a TS with loose objects sitting on the table? WITHOUT the guards?!!!!!!!!!

Just thought I'd jump on that with humor BEFORE someone ACTUALLY says something like that.

The guard is removed for clarity :D. As to the loose items, you misunderstand; Jeff is preparing for the 102.6 MPH nickle launch test :).

Congrats!! Anxious to hear your thoughts after you put it through some workouts. Glad there was no damage during shipping. Most never try a dime....you must have gotten a very good one!! Jim.

This heavy duty model Craftsman saw is so smooth it even passes the "quarter test". I can put a quarter on the table of this saw and turn it on. It will run all day long without the quarter falling off the table, it's that stable.

I noticed that one a couple mos ago on the local Craig's list, my paraphrase is pretty close to the ad, as close as I can remember. There was a picture of a typical craftsman contractor saw with a quarter lying flat on the table, valiantly fighting the urge to jump off I guess.
