View Full Version : A set of turning chisels

I inherited these from my grandfather, a cabinet maker and dedicated craftsman. I don't know how old these are but they don't seem to have seen much use as they still have stickers on the handles. All are marked "Stormont, Sheffield". Probably more chisels than I need or can even use but its not everyday you get things from your grandfather.

Realy nice, a great gift! clean them up get them sharp and start turning things!

Coming from your grandfather there must be a lot of sentimental value.
Good to have a reminder of the past and to me you can't put a price on it.

My most prized plane is one I got from my grandfather when he passed a bunch of years ago.
It's beat up and has a broken knob.
On the market it is worth pretty much zero.
To me it's priceless.

Enjoy your grandfathers tools....
A little part of him lives on.
