Hi,
I was wondering if anyone had any advice for giving stair treads a little traction? I'm replacing all of my indoor stair treads with a nice 5/4 oak and a poly finish. The guy at the hardware store suggested a granular/silicate/sand aditive but when I tried it on a test piece, it looked HORRIBLE ! and was WAYY too grippy. Anyone have any suggestions for just something to provide a little bit of traction without loosing too much look?

Hi, Bona Resident is a one-component waterborne polyurethane/acrylate finish for the surface treatment
of wooden floors in homes and other areas subject to normal wear.
