This is from some walnut trees I scored last November and measures 10 1/4" x 7 1/2" and is 4 1/2" tall at the tips. Walls are just under shy of 3/8". AO finish, not buffed yet.

Very nice piece the way it is,what are you gonna finish it with.Probably look good with just a good buffing an some wax.I do a lot of pieces like that and they come out purty nice :)
